That does suck. I have the same sort of problem: I just came back from Japan, and I have a cold, and my period. The plane trip was horrible, coz I nearly vomited and fainted once we'd stopped at the airport. I got to ride in a wheelchair coz of that, which wasn't too bad. :) I still felt kinda stupid though. :P

I had my period whilst having chicken pox. I was also out of tampons and had to ask my dad to journey to the store to pick some up for me : (
