Is it a forum that is for or against suicide? If they're against it, maybe he thinks you'd be good at helping suicidal people not take their own lives. If they're the other kind, he's looking for an easy way to dump you.

Many people who commit suicide have major depression. What they do not realize at the time is that they are hurting others who care for them. Those who commit suicide are ill, but I still think its stupid and horrid. So OP while I think everything happens for a reason, you may want to show your boyfriend all their is to live for before he goes sky diving without the parachute.

call the suicide prevention hotline and tell them your boyfriends talk of suicide see what they tell you to do. also you might involve people who love him
