oh, unfortunately it can be contracted any number of ways, its not so bad though, over 80% of the population have it so it's not as taboo or embarrassing as you might think. just make sure whenever you do decide to start dating to be honest about it, better than the consequences of lying

Its possible your mother had HPV. The HPV strained linked with genital warts can be passed to the child going through the birth canal. It can end up in the child's mouth, throat, nose, anywhere really.
