Today, I bought myself a brand-new 52" flatscreen. It was only in my house for 2 hours before my toddler had a tantrum, threw a toy right into the screen and wrecked it beyond repair. I paid to have a nice TV for 2 hours. FML

in denmark we got insurance for that kind of things .. i wrecked my 46" and now i have 50" 3D tv ... my insurance paid for the 50" :)

Always get warranty/insurance when making expensive purchases, ESPECIALLY when you have toddlers. I did when I bought my TV, and I don't have kids. Good thing I did - it was a display model that started acting up 8 months later. Got it replaced for free.
