Today, I bought a laptop so that I could have dirty video chats with my internet girlfriend. I got home only to find that the only place I can get a decent wifi signal is in front of my mom's room. FML

Today, my dad came into my room, looked at my laptop, and said he could hear the porn I was watching all the way from his room. I wasn't watching porn. We soon realised it was actually coming from his mobile phone. FML

"Internet girlfriend"? You deserve it. P.S. There's this thing called a webcam that you can buy for about $30 instead of buying a $1000 laptop.

YDI for a. Having such a crappy router that you only get a signal at one spot in the house. If it's your neighbor's network, get your own router. b. Having an "Internet girlfriend." Get a life and a real girlfriend. c. Buying a whole new laptop instead of just a webcam

Try buying an old router and a really long Ethernet cord and bridge the main router to your old one. So basically, just connect the two routers using the wire on the secondary ports and put the old one in your room or something.
