Today, during lunch at school, a wave of nausea came over me. I ran to the bathroom and made it just in time. As I was throwing up, I set off the toilet's automatic flush and my vomit came flying back into my face. FML

Today, I was feeling sick so I decided to lay down. As soon as I did, I felt the sudden urge to throw up, so I ran to the bathroom. When I bent over the toilet to throw up, my glasses fell in along with my vomit. Before I had a chance to retrieve them, I threw up again. And again. FML

Today, I was very sick and kept throwing up. I took a shower after every time I threw up. While in the shower after I threw up, I had to throw up again, so I got out and ran to the toilet. I slipped on the tile, broke my nose on the floor, and then threw up. FML

@4 and 8, a lot of these take a couple days to get through the screening. @ OP, if the toilet was flushing how could it spray back up? usually when you flush the stuff goes down not up....

112 while i believe the OP did exaggerate, you are also wrong. The other day I had diarhea and had to use a universite toilet that flushed before I was done wiping. Like must automatic toilets it sprayed the seat. The drops on the seat were brown. I don't believe the clean water coming to replace the dirty water in the toilet was brown, do you? think about it, even if it is clean water coming down, it is coming into the dirty water, and so can easily splash up, and most people kneel over a toilet while they are puking so her head was as probably close to the toilet as a squatters bottom is. I am nearly standing when I go and I still have to jump away if I don't want my butt sprayed with the water. *thanks for the tip 114. I hate how they always flush the moment I reach for the toilet paper and it seems the automatic flushers are always in the tiny stalls that don't give you much room to get away from the toilet

I always love it when people are like, "OMG! This is obviously fake because you said it happened today during a wedding, but nobody has weddings on Wednesday!" or "OMG! Todays is Saturday! FAKE! No one has school on Saturdays!" In case you guys haven't noticed, every FML starts with "today" (it kind of has to). This doesn't necessarily mean it happened to the poster today (it's not like they run to the computer the second shit happens to them so they can post it).

Damn the auto-flushers! They never work right and they're annoying! Also, if you consider time zones it could even have been Friday where the poster was. But yes, the REQUIRED format is "Today, blah blah. FML".

NASTY! I hate automatic toilets! Just as you get the toilet paper laid on the seat, it flushes and sprays water all over, and you have to start again. Stupidest idea ever.

Oh man, that sucks so bad.. I hate the automatically flushing toilets, are we REALLY so lazy as a society that a person can't flush away their own waste?
