kindly remind her of what she told you before she left, and then finish the sentence by mumbling "bitch" under your breath. that'll teach her!

Sorry about that OP. Tell her that you came in despite being sick since she told you to come. Not only will you prove her contradiction, but you'll be seen as an especially loyal employee!

Well, if you had stayed longer, you would've exposed even more people to your sickness, which would've meant more sick days from everyone. So, really, you were doing your boss a favor!

Agreed. Any boss that tells you before they leave not to take any sick days is a jerk and will probably get sued at some point in their lives. When people are sick, they are allowed to not come into work, it's their right, and it's actually better for the company because then the sickness isn't spread. Whenever you are seriously sick op, you should call in sick (especially for a stomach bug where you're throwing up!). If your boss tries to yell at you later for it (which I don't think she will after this incident) then just tell her you were really sick and thought 1 or 2 sick days was better than spreading it and causing about 10 other people to take 1 or 2 sick days as well.
