Today, after admitting he had feelings for me, my crush returned from out of town. He'd said that while he was gone, he'd meet people, but only think of me. He came back no longer single. He's known her for 4 days. We've known each other for 6 years. FML

I finally decided to find out once and for all if there was any chance with him, so I drove to his house, armed with a home cooked meal and wine, only to find the very friend I confided in was at his house. It turns out they are now an item. FML

Am I the only one who noticed OP said 'after admitting he had feelings for me, my crush returned from out of town.' So he already had came back..but then OP says 'he'd MEET new people.' meaning he was GOING TO. Then he came back AGAIN. Sorry, it bugged me.
