Today, a kid with severe Down's came into my workplace, as he does every day. He's has an obsession with me, sitting at a table, staring and taking photos of me all day. His parents have no problem with this, because they think it's a miracle that he can focus so much attention on me for so long. FML

At least he's one other person that likes you. I say, let him do whatever as long as it doesn't get too awkward. If need be if he does get a bit awkward, just tell him to stop...he will understand if you talk to him like a normal person. Trust me, they know what you are saying. As long as he isn't hurting people, hes good.

Oh. and to everyone saying it's not a big deal, if a guy continuously stared at you and took pictures of you, you'd be a little bit uneasy about it. Despite his mental handicaps, it's still creepy behaviour.

what research did you do to find out that they sexually assault all the time your an idiot they do not, depending on his severity of his downs he may only function that of a toddler just because he is mentally handicapped does not mean he will sexually assault her you people would feel alot different if you knew some one with downs or if it was your family member he might just like her and if it is interfering with her job then she should talk to his parents and explain it to them I'm sure they would not let it continue or she could just talk to him and be polite and ask him to not take her pic I understand ops side but I also think she going about it wrong he handicapped not a sexual predator don't be a bitch about it cause if he were your kid how would you feel about your reaction to him grow up and handle it like an adult talk to the parents or even the kid and quit whining it's definitely not a fml

wow this person has down syndom. i dont know if you know anyone that has down syndrom, but i do. leave him alone, hes not hurting you, and hes happy. if this was a guy going in, sexually harrasing you, then yeah i would bitch to, but hes not, give him a break, dont be so damn rude

I agree, and the fact op mentioned its severe, o I most definantly agree. here in the states, there's special laws in place to protect them, I know it's wishful thinking, society should do the same. and more understanding!
