Today, I realized I'm trapped. I might be heading into an abusive relationship that I won't be able to escape, but I can't leave because then I'd break his heart and I love him too much for that. FML

OP, you definitely need counseling. No one should let themselves be abused physically or emotionally. Yes, we all take a little discomfort or even minor verbal abuse at times, but if it looks like a pattern you have to get out of the relationship and get away - The sooner the better. It’s part of why everyone needs the ability to earn a living and take care of themselves - Otherwise they are stuck in dependency.

There's no problem in loving someone but knowing when a relationship is going To be any type of abusive relationship is not good .
