Today, I found out the guy who rejected me just two days ago, and who told me he was “asexual” and “incapable of feeling romantic love” is in fact very sexual, and very much in love, in the backseat of his SUV with another girl. FML

Not every combination “clicks” for whatever reason or another. And people are not always entirely honest of their reasons for not being attracted or for breaking up. And to be honest, many people are also not ready to hear the truth. So this sounds like a version of the famous “it’s not you, it’s me.”… OP, don’t obsess over relationships that didn’t work out. Learn from the past if you can, but look primarily to the future.

Why are people so afraid to just say, "No/I'm flattered, but I'm just not into you that way." YLS for being lied to, my sympathies. At least now you know he has no qualms lying and can, hopefully, move on.
