HAHAHAHAH ahhh finally a fml that makes me laugh out loud.

I'm with all the other folk here who don't polish too often. I assumed that it made it slippery, just because otherwise there'd be nothing to be complaining about, but all I knew about Pledge before looking at these comments was that it was some sort of cleaning fluid. Your FML shouldn't require specific brand knowledge of cleaning products...

um how is it not an fml? the dude fell down the stairs because he was wearing socks and pledge makes woods extremely slippery

When i was like 10 (i'm 18 now) my little sister (who is 2 years younger than me) did this. I found out the same way. :(

I live in a small country where pledge is sold (it's south of Canada, but north of Mexico), but I always thought Pledge was something used to disinfect surfaces (a napkin with alcohol on it basically). However, I just read the FML and decided it must be a slippery surface shiner... Inferring is a great cognitive ability.

I hope she was of a decent age..like a teenager or something :| because a child playing with Pledge is very dangerous... :3 but FYL; because falling down staircases suck, especially when there's an open door at the bottom... I speak from experience o_O

at least she cleaned!
