Today, I went to buy my prom dress. I felt really good as I walked out of the dressing room, until someone walked out of the room next to me wearing the same dress, and looked better in it than I did. It was a man buying it for his drag show. FML

I'm pretty sure lots of countries have proms...they're just not called "prom" Even Germany does have something that's at least alike, though it's usually only for the class that just graduated...that's why it's called "graduation ball"...I was already dating my husband, who's American, at the time of my graduation ball and he'd call it a prom because "that's what it is"...lol...

We have the Ball in Australia or I think QLD have debutantes and stuff. It's probably similar in the UK
