Today, I went to buy my prom dress. I felt really good as I walked out of the dressing room, until someone walked out of the room next to me wearing the same dress, and looked better in it than I did. It was a man buying it for his drag show. FML

Mehhh, unless someone TOLD you the drag queen looked nicer, not a big deal. Usually one's worst critic is oneself. It's just your own opinion.

The UK does have proms they normally aren't as amazing or as big of a deal as American ones, but that's just my own experience. Also she could be using prom instead of ball or formal just to ensure everyone understood what she was talking about

Anyone who's seriously wondering how a guy can look better than a girl in a dress needs to go to a serious drag show. You'll be amazed at how fantastic some of the performers look.
