Today, I deleted my account on social media and changed my name, all because I posted something hilariously inappropriate, and everybody laughed except one lady. My followers savagely jumped to my defense against this "one lady". I had to tell people to stop roasting my grandma. FML

Couldn't you just block your grandma first? I used to have my family in a group called "don't need to know," and I used this to keep my unholy thoughts and deeds away from my family....

I was on Facebook for about a week. When I considered what I could say without offending anyone, the self-censorship was suffocating. I was reduced to making comments about the weather, but not extreme comments.

I made a hilariously inappropriate post a decade ago, and some people didn't take too kindly to it, and they ended up calling my work place, and they had to sit me down and tell me to not make those jokes online
