Today, a small kid looked at me, screamed in terror, and hid behind his dad. I was just walking down the same aisle in the store. This is far from the first time it's happened. FML

The best thing to do is look at the kid, lick your lips and rub your stomach. Of course you should make sure dad doesnt see it, makes for an awkward confrontation usually.

People keep saying OP is either fat or ugly. OP could actually pretty and just have piercings or brightly dyed hair. My friends and I have piercings and we've had kids run away from us lol.

Just imagining people with piercings and brightly colored hair makes me wanna hide behind my daddy... imagine how kids feel when they see that stuff, I don't think they've got the wisdom to look past the modifications and see the beauty hidden by self-mutilation
