Erections are connected to the autonomic nervous system, which controls things we don't have to think about conciously, such as heart beat, or blood pressure. This means we have no more control over it, than we do over our heart beating, or reflexes, like what we'd do if someone stabbed you in the arm, or flinching from the pain from being set on fire. In short, we have no concious control over it, otherwise, guys could look at whatever they wanted that was visually stimulating, whenever they wanted with no worry, which is why things like that are only done in private. If a guy were tied down and told he'd be shot in the head if he gets a boner, and is then shown ****, he would die. Random boners happen all the time becasue of hormonal spikes, and all kinds of things out side of our control. Do you really think we'd do something in public in our control, that would embarrass us, unless we couldn't help what happens?

I've been confused by that too actually...thanks. Is there really no way of controlling it even if it was like some spartan method...? I'm just thinking about this historically, I mean, before jeans and such, it must've been super-inconvenient. Maybe thats why there were so many wars pahahahaha
