Today, is the start of the third month that I prayed I would be fired, just so I didn't have to quit because I hate awkward conversations. FML

Getting fired from a job doesn't look good on paper when you try to get another job, OP. Just quit so it doesn't make another awkward situation later.

I know it's hard to deal with awkward conversations, but getting fired looks a lot worse than quitting. Although I'm In the same situation and wish to be fired, I will man up and write it on a sticky note hoping they understand

There's nothing awkward about emailing them your two week notice, and maybe not showing up again after that.
