Find a desk-job, that way you don’t have to face other people often. I hate customer service jobs too.

I've had all sorts of jobs and working with the public isn't scary once you break that seal. Though there are plenty of jobs that don't require it if your concerned about that. Best of luck.

That really must suck. Just try and stay positive, deep breaths and relax. Remember there is a reason you applied for this job. Use that reason to get you through your day to day activities.
