Nepotism

Today, I was let go from my job that I have been at for 6 months, all because someone from the past wants to come back, and the current office manager will be going on maternity leave. I'm just collateral damage. FML

Been there. Got laid off from a job at Motorola in the 90's because someone's job was labeled "redundant" and their friend in my department (AKA my boss) laid me off so that the redundant employee could stay employed. My jackhole boss even kept telling me to wait for a call to be re-hired, then went radio silent while I kept getting fobbed off by his "deceptionist." (Lost a week of unemployment insurance because I foolishly trusted him.) Rick, I'll bet you are still a hypocritical POS.
