Today, my parents used to tell that me life gets way better after high school. Yeah, for everyone else at my school. They’re partying it up in college or travelling during gap years, meeting all sorts of people. I have to work more than full time because my parents kicked me out the week after I graduated. FML

Today, and since I graduated, I've realized how truly lonely I am. I haven't seen my one best friend in almost a year and I only leave the house to go to work. Not to mention I no longer enjoy things I used to love doing, making me even more sad and bored. Social anxiety and depression will do that to you. FML

Today, I realized that even though I was an honor student throughout school, and considered the golden child who was going to go far in life, all I've accomplished a year after graduation is becoming an unemployed single mother still living with my parents. FML

Today, I am jobless after graduation. Ironic, since when I started college with my education degree, I was congratulated, told of the teacher shortage in my state, and how quickly I would be able to find a job. Three years in, the economy tanks, and the state issues a teacher hiring freeze. FML

Life is a process. You find new goals and new things that are rewarding once you graduate and move into a career. It takes a little while to adjust from being in school to working full time. If it takes over a year, you really screwed up with your major or life or career.

Life is a process. You find new goals and new things that are rewarding once you graduate and move into a career. It takes a little while to adjust from being in school to working full time. If it takes over a year, you really screwed up with your major or life or career.
