Today, my drunken mom began to frantically scream, "YEAH", "WOO HOO", and, "ALRIGHT" at some kindergarteners that were singing 'Amazing Grace' in honor of a restaurant owner who had recently died. FML

True 22, but op's mom may not be "bitchy" until she is drinking. A lot of people turn nasty or crazy or whatever only when they're drinking and are fine when they're sober. If she drinks all the time and at inappropriate times (like this event) then yes, she does need some intervention or some help.

Op definitely should have escorted her out. However in op's defence, drunk people are not easily and quietly removed from a situation they don't want to leave. They can become very angry and yell even louder. So it may have been worse if op did try and move her and it may have taken several people to physically remove her from the building if she didn't want to go. So not really op's fault.
