Today, my dad texted me, "I love u." I replied, "I love you too dad... are you drunk?" He answers back, "Of course I am..." My dad only tells me he loves me when he's drunk. FML

My dad does that too. It's probably because he doesn't know how to express his emotions, so he does it when he's loosened up a little. Still, I know it sucks, maybe talk to him about it?
