Today, even though I’m not allowed to be on my phone while on the line at work, I texted an unknown number. My manager looked at her Apple Watch. I'd texted my manager while on the job. FML

Why would you text an unkown number, much less while you're supposed to be working and not have your phone? Also how do you not know it's your manager?

She came up to me and talked to me about it. I got a text asking me to go into work but didn’t know who exactly it was as I have two jobs

She had confronted me about it and showed me her phone. She knew I was on my phone anyways and they never enforce it anyways

She confronted me after I asked who it was. Not all managers enforce the phone rule. She even showed me her phone. All is well.

Now that you have cleared that up, can you explain why you don't have your manager's number saved to your phone? Even if you technically work under multiple managers, wouldn't you have the contact info for all of them?
