Today, I was having sex with my boyfriend in his car and we got caught. He’s being detained because I’m underage. My parents were called and are on their way. I had told them I was studying for final exams with a classmate. I feel like I’m next in line on death row. FML

Yikes, stagetory charges are serious and many states don't care if it was consensual with people only a year apart. I had 2 classmates who are registered sex offenders for having 11th grade girlfriends when they were in 12th grade.

If there are only a few months of difference between you and your area has “Romeo and Juliet” laws, he will be fine. However, if he is significantly older than that… well, that’s statutory rape. It doesn’t matter how old you feel or how in love you are then. And he fully deserves the consequences of his actions then.

Okay how old are you and your bf? Because if you are underage, you're a victim of statutory rape. Are you age of consent? Also, it's not recommended to have sex in public places. At least I hope you enjoyed yourself up until you got caught, and I wish you the best of luck! I would also advise you to think about the risk of getting caught when indulging in that kind of activities in the future, and think more through the choice of location.
