Today, I had a toothache and applied some numbing gel to soothe the pain. Too much came out and made my whole mouth numb. A man came into my work, thought I was making fun of his lisp, and stormed out really upset. He later called to complain about me. The boss just called me to his office. FML

Sometimes, working for a dumbass is better than no work at all. Not to mention that I don't know of any career choice that offers immunity from working with dumbasses, either.

Maybe OP does take care of his/her teeth. Some tooth issues can't be prevented. A year ago, I was in severe pain because my wisdom teeth were coming in sideways and growing into my other teeth. I was on Vicoden until they were removed.

Apparently that customer thinks he's the only one in the world who's allowed to have lisp. Everyone else who has it is just trying to make his life miserable.
