Extenuating circumstances

Today, I found out that my professor dropped me from class because I missed a Zoom meeting. The only class I needed to graduate. Why did I miss the meeting? Because I was in labor for 32 hours. FML

Contact the professor and administration with that information. Generally something like that could constitute Title IX discrimination (IE on discrimination on the basis of sex/gender). If you have a Title IX office, bring it up with them, and they may be able to champion that.

I work in University Admissions and I was going to say the same thing-- likely falls under Title IX. Definitely make a huge stink about it- maybe even threaten to sue.

You know, Zoom has a mute button. There's really no reason you'd have to miss the meeting. It's up to you to decide to leave your video on. Maybe the professor and other students would be amused at the funny faces you make.
