Today, I didn't get my driver's license, even though I didn't make any mistakes because my examiner said it was only my first time taking the exam, so it wouldn't matter if I failed. Now I have to pay another €240 for a second exam. FML

Today, I took my driver's test. I did everything flawlessly, but my examiner kept all but pissing his pants throughout. He yelled, "ARE YOU TRYING TO GET US KILLED?!" when I drove past a traffic light just as it was about to turn red. The road was almost empty. He failed me on the spot. FML

Today, I had my first driving test. The instructor turned out to be the kind of twit who made me do the full 60-minute test, only to tell me afterwards that he was failing me for the only mistake I made less than 2 minutes after the test started. Time wasting tit. FML

Today, I took my driver's test. The woman administering it wouldn't even look at me, so trying to be friendly I said the first thing I could think of, "It must be scary getting in the car with someone you don't know!" She failed me for "excessive chatting." FML

Today, I drove 45 minutes to take my full driver's test. At the end of the test, the instructor told me I'd done everything perfectly, but had failed before I left the parking lot. I didn't see the "one way" sign at the entrance. FML

Today, I took my driving test. I was nervous, but I thought I followed the rules of the road pretty well. My tester ended up failing me for "backing out too slowly". FML

That would have been a great idea, but this is unfortunately not about the theoretical exam.. it was the practical exam; where you drive around with the examiner in the car and he tells you in the end, if you are able to drive the car good enough to get your license or not.

Usually they have a piece of paper that they use to grade your practical exam, it's not a pass/fail exam. Call them and ask to see it.

When I failed my 1st practical driving test (just passed 2nd time last month.) I was given the test sheet by the practical examiner to improve on my failed areas.

My instructor said that those who take the test more than once are safer drivers, but I still was still advanced on the first go. Definitely try to fight the outcome, OP.

My drivers ed teacher had a policy- out of every batch of three students, only one would pass. His reasoning was "there's no way 100% of high school students are safe driver so there's no way 100% will pass my course." He would have failed us all if he could get away with it.
