Today, I woke up with a fever, headache and sore throat. All the symptoms of Covid-19. I told my husband, whose responded with, "Sack up and get over yourself." FML

Same thing different taste

Today, I'm stuck in bed with a fever, aches, and nasty cough. My kids and husband had it too, and kept coughing without covering their mouths, despite my asking several times so I wouldn't get sick. FML

Today, I tested positive for Covid. Not only do I feel absolutely miserable, but I was at work all day yesterday, interacting with the public. Also, the day before that, I hung out at a friend's house with a 3-month-old infant. If any one of them get Covid, it's my fault. FML

Today, I woke up on my boyfriend's bedroom floor. When I asked him why I was there, he said I'd gotten too hot, so he rolled me off his bed. I have the flu and a fever. FML

Today, I got tons of sympathy (and hugs) from my co-workers after intense sneezing and coughing due to my "seasonal allergies." When I got home, my SO asked if allergies are contagious, because he had them too. He didn't have allergies. We have Covid. And so do most of my co-workers now. I suck! FML

Today, my husband found out that not only has he tested positive for influenza A, but also has tested positive for Covid 19. My work won't let me return until I have isolated for 14 days from someone with Covid. Our house is really small. FML

Thanksgiving at home

Today, I woke up with a dry cough, which is a red flag for COVID. I took a home test, came up positive; went to a doctor, same result. I get home, mask up, and tell my roommates to test. I'm still in the process of telling the family I can't make it for Thanksgiving when my roomies test positive, too. FML

Today, i woke up at 5 a.m. because my throat was swelling up. I called 911 and they determined i would live, so I took two Benadryl and slept all day. Then I went to urgent care for my scheduled appointment time and tested positive for Covid. FML

Today, I was tested positive for Covid-19, after suffering with some of the symptoms of the disease two days ago. Last week, I had to pretend I was infected with it to avoid going to a friend's party, as my ex-girlfriend would be there. Ain't life a bitch? FML

Today, I woke up to a text from my girlfriend telling me to call when I wake up. Turns out she had one of her friends over who tested positive for Covid and I was just at her house, so now I’m forced to quarantine. FML

Or they’re like my family, who fully know it’s deadly, but feel that trying to “prevent” it is interfering with natural selection. Which is made even funnier by the fact that they don’t believe in evolution.

The symptoms are way too common in other things. I have had chest pains, trouble breathing, headache, cough and loss of taste this entire time and if I tell anyone about those they readily declare Covid. I have chest pains from a caffeine OD last year, My asthma makes breathing hard, I frequently get headaches when I'm stressed, I cough when the temperature suddenly shifts, and I haven't been able to taste very many things my entire life. Does your SO have a right to discredit your opinion, no. However your symptoms are common with the flu and common cold, so jumping straight to the worst outcome will do nothing but cause you to worry. You should get tested before you assume the worst because of the overlap in symptoms with other things.
