It's alright. My parents never told me how to spell mine. I just made it up and decided how I wanted it pronounced too. It's not a common name though. I've never heard of something similar to it.

Easy solution: get your name legally changed to how you spell it. That is, if you like how you spell it, over how your parents spelled it. My parents did a similar thing, in that they always told me to pronounce my middle name as "Lee," when it's spelled and pronounced typically as "Lee-a." I always wanted to be named "Lee-a," so it was quite strange they did that to me. lol

The worst part? The OP's middle name is Chad.

my middle name was spelled wrong on my birth certificate. I found out because i needed to get a copy so i could get my passport, my name on my birth Certificate is Jason Nobel, i have been spelling it Jason Noble for 23 years. Never knew until today
