Today, like every day since I was born, my name is Yarenis, pronounced "ja-ra-nees". For some reason, everybody pronounces it "your anus". FML

Why don't you use your middle name? I have friends that tell people their middle name as their first because they don't want a mix up or they're embarrassed.:)

You seem surprised that people pronounce it like that, but the way your parents spelled it does look like "your anus" LOL your parents were on drugs when they named you.
