Today, I went to the Chick-fil-A drive through. Instead of asking me my name for my order, I was greeted by my name. I asked how he knew it, and he responded by saying he makes it a point to remember all the great customers' names. He added that I come there all the time. FML

Today, I'm an introvert and told my girlfriend explicitly that all I wanted for my birthday was to sit quietly and read my new Discworld book. She took this to mean invite everyone within 50 miles for a massive party, and afterwards was surprised that I was pissed as hell and not speaking to her. FML
Today, my wife and I used to have sex at least 5 times a week, but since we said "I DO" at our wedding I’m lucky to get a shag once a month, and you can forget about blowjobs, I’ve not had one since before the wedding. Nothing about our life has changed to cause this, except we’re married now. FML
Today, I went on a date with a guy who is perfect in every way, except for the tiny fact he thinks Covid is a hoax created by hospitals to profit massively on selling masks and hand sanitiser. Both my parents died from Covid and my nana is currently in hospital with it. FML

Aujourd'hui, pour ses 70 ans, ma mère a loué une villa à la mer. Mon plus jeune frère souhaite que je ne dorme pas dans la même chambre que mon compagnon, pour ne pas choquer ses enfants. Ça fait 10 ans que nous sommes ensemble, mais pour ma mère nous pourrions "faire un petit effort pour ne pas gâcher le weekend." VDM

Today, out of pure boredom, I created a Twitter account. Looking for pages to follow, I found out that my long-distance boyfriend is actually someone's husband. A month ago he posted a picture of himself and "The love of his life", wishing her a happy 30th birthday. FML
Today, my daughter got upset because, even though I bought the car for her when she got her license, I told her it was her responsibility to pay the tax, insurance and MOT every year. End result, my daughter is a selfish brat and I returned the car, but lost a bunch of my deposit money. FML
Today, while chatting with my work friend, our work photographer walked in saying she needed two people for a photo for our company social media. My friend said OK, and without hesitation the photographer said, while side-eyeing me, “Great. I’ll go see who else might be free to be in the picture with you.” FML
Aujourd'hui, je suis passager dans la voiture un peu vétuste d'une amie. Nous passons sur un ralentisseur et perdons la roue de secours. Le temps de nous garer, la camionnette derrière nous s'arrête, un des gaillards court récupérer la roue, la jette sur le plateau, puis part en trombe. VDM

Today, a "friend" of mine decided stealing my very low amount of sticky notes repetitively to make origami and show off was okay, even though I had repeatedly asked her to stop. Then, when I snapped, I was the bad guy, and everyone who was around started stealing my pencil case to get them. FML
Today, after spending 5 years working towards my dream job, getting it, and while in training telling a risqué joke, I got suspended the next day, lost the job, and I'm now in a shitty admin job. FML

J'ai payé 105 euros de plus que prévu, avant de réaliser que je n'avais pas réservé la bonne date. Impossible d'annuler, et l'échange coûte 40 euros. La dinde farcie, c'est moi. VDM
Aujourd'hui, j'ai voulu poser mon après-midi pour me reposer de mon travail, pour le moins mouvementé. À peine rentré, je me retrouve réquisitionner par le reste de ma famille pour ramasser les feuille mortes dans le jardin. Je suis employé municipal et mon taf c'est entretenir les espaces verts. VDM

Today, while working at the store, a lady grabbed a bunch of T-shirts and started talking on the phone. She then walked out the store with them. I ran after her, and she sprays me with mace telling me to not interrupt her while on the phone. My eyes burned for hours. Oh, and I was fired because of the huge loss. FML
