Today, I demanded to know why my boyfriend even stays with me if he’s not interested in marriage or children, hates my family, barely talks to me when he gets home, and seems uninterested in sex. Apparently, the cheap rent on my flat was his sole interest in me. FML

Today, I saw a Facebook post from my mom about my cancer, how she’s exhausted caring for me, and quit her job to be by my side, blah blah blah. The woman hasn’t set foot in my house in 11 months after I got a restraining order against her, and my "cancer" is a mole I’m getting removed next week. FML
Today, after a kid-less, romantic dinner, complete with fancy wine and a back rub, my wife decided that researching Flat Earth Theory was more interesting than sex. FML

Aujourd'hui, je suis sorti du boulot un peu plus tôt car je dois faire la route Toulouse-Barcelone. Je reçois un appel deux heures plus tard. La personne qui devait fermer l'agence n'a pas ses clefs. Je suis le plus proche ayant des clefs. Demi-tour, et nuit longue en perspective. VDM
Aujourd'hui, jours de RTT posés pour notre première journée galipettes depuis la naissance de notre fille il y a un an et demi. Grands au collège : OK. Bébé à la crèche : OK. Juste mon ado qui ne se réveille jamais avant 13:00, mais décide de se lever à 9:30. Pour les galipettes, VDM
Aujourd'hui, ma fille m'a maquillé les yeux avec son nouveau fard "Argenté-à-paillettes-pour-Noël." Puis elle s'est reculée un peu pour regarder le résultat et s'est exclamée : "C'est super joli, c'est assorti à tes cheveux !" VDM
Aujourd'hui, je suis en plein aménagement de mon appartement. Mon chéri, qui est venu dormir chez moi hier, me fait la tête car je l’empêche de dormir. Il est 13h, et depuis ce matin je déménage les meubles toute seule. Mais il râle car il a préféré faire la grasse mat' dans le salon, la piece que je range. VDM
Aujourd’hui, mon copain devait rentrer du restaurant où il avait invité sa sœur pour son anniversaire. Pour rire, il m’avait lancé : "Tu m’attendras en sous-vêtements quand je rentre !" N’étant pas mon genre, j’ai voulu le surprendre. J'ai été très surprise quand il est rentré avec sa sœur. VDM
Aujourd'hui, mon fils de 12 ans a goûté aux graines que j'étais en train de verser dans notre cabane à oiseaux fraîchement construite. "Mmmh, c'est tellement bon Maman, j'pourrais pas m'arrêter d'en manger tant qu'il y en aura dans la maison." Le sac fait 20 kg. VDM
Today, I reluctantly agreed to bring my boyfriend home to meet my family. He said he wasn’t easily scared and could handle a “weird” family. Two hours later, there was a massive brawl when one uncle hit the other’s wife after she threw wine in his face. Tables were flipped, cops were called. Shit. FML
Today, my now ex-girlfriend broke up with me by simply "ghosting" me. We're both in our late thirties. I thought she was more grown up than this. FML
Today, I met my future in-laws, two lesbian ladies. Can you imagine that, two mothers-in-law judging me for daring to want to marry their precious baby boy? By the time we left, it felt like they’d extracted every iota of information about me through my skin with sandpaper and rusty barbecue tongs. FML
Today, a side effect of my new medicine is uncontrollable itching. To “help”, my boyfriend gave me itching powder. When I got mad, he claimed he thought itching powder was used to combat itching. What? FML
Today, my dad's last words before he fell into a coma, and later died, were about how he wanted to stick his face in the ass of his 20-something nurse and motorboat her cheeks. I had to lie to my mother and say that his last words were that he wanted to see her again before the end. Thanks dad, NOT. FML
Aujourd'hui, j'ai surpris ma fille de 16 mois en train de tremper sa sucette dans le seau d'eau sale qui me sert à laver le sol. VDM

Today, I realized how absolutely shitty my family is when my brother brought home his third girlfriend this week. They all smiled in her face, knowing full well my brother is a cheating asshole. Not to mention, she’s pregnant with his kid. I wasn’t allowed to date til I moved out. FML
Today, while waiting at a bus stop, I took one Airpod out of my ear to put it in its case. However, it slipped out of my hand, and at that exact time, the bus pulled over and instantly crushed it. A replacement bud costs $95. FML
Today, as my girlfriend and I were on a romantic dinner for two, I tried pulling out the chair for her. She fell over. FML
Aujourd'hui, au restaurant avec ma copine, elle n'arrête pas de me soumettre l'idée de se fiancer d'ici quelques années. Alors pour rigoler, je lui dis qu'on se fiancera le 30 Février 2024. Elle m'a répondu "Oui !" avec un immense sourire. VDM
Aujourd'hui, assise en terrasse, j'ai assisté à une battle de jeunes parents : "Noah n'aime plus Trotro, il est passé à Tchoupi maintenant." L'autre couple a surenchéri : "Emma, elle, ne regarde plus ce genre de dessins animés. Elle est déjà plus branchée Miraculous." VDM
Aujourd'hui, j'ai appris que j'allais finir mon année célibataire, sans emploi, et avec le Covid. Joyeux Noël et bonne année bien sûr ! VDM
