WTF doc?

Today, my doctor confirmed I’m pregnant, but she phrased it as, “I’ve got some bad news for you, you’re pregnant.” I could be wrong but should a health professional automatically assume a pregnancy is unwanted? Plus she’s spent months helping us with fertility advice. FML

Then I'd like to congratulate you on finally getting pregnant! And the best of luck for the future!

Maybe the doctor was being sarcastic

So you want to be pregnant but FML? Someone’s wording really shouldn’t overshadow something this exciting

she said the doctor helped them with fertility for months so she is happy. I'm guess the doctor forget the patient wanted a baby

she probably just didn't think or is used to hearing people react badly to that news. I'm sure she'd be happy if you are.

Look on the bright side. At least it wasn't misdiagnosed as something else.

Maybe that was her humour?

Congratulations 🎉 She might have been trying to be funny but hell with her, go celebrate with ice cream and pickles.
