Wrong end of the stick

Today, I went to my girlfriend's house to break up with her. It was a hard decision and both of us became quite emotionally overwhelmed at the time. We began to hug as a final goodbye, then her mum burst in the room and yelled, "HE FINALLY PROPOSED!" FML

Fall

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.

At least you didn't chicken out and end up proposing to her anyway, like last week's poster.

AWKWARD! But seriously, did y'all tell he didn't propose?!

At least her mom loves you

Loved you *

Haha it's just like Legally Blonde!

Indeed he did dear mother; he proposed to break up.

Why the hell are you breaking up if it's so hard on both of you?

I think that's a good question, but at the same time, I can understand it. I was in an unhappy, unhealthy relationship off and on for 5 years. Every time I tried to end it, I started crying just as much as he did, and I kept failing to go through with it. It took something major to actually break us up for good, and now looking back, I am soooo glad we did break up! But I also think, "Where there's a will, there's a way." And maybe if they find it so hard to break up, maybe they should just try to fix their problems. So yeah, I can see both ways, and I have experienced something like it too.
