Unusual method
Today, my friend was having a party. It was going good until I got the hiccups really bad, and they wouldn't go away. My friend decided to scare them away by shooting a pellet gun right next to my head. Bad news: It blew out my eardrum. I still have the hiccups. FML

your friend should have to wear a sign that says he's stupid. his kind are the reason why they put "don't take orally" on hemorrhoid cream.

89, way to make a complete ass of yourself. The location of the punctuate mark relative to the quotation marks differs between different types of English. American English puts it inside the quotation marks - but in British style English, the placement of the punctuation marks vary. Do some research before you lecture people.

Methonks you do not know the meaning of "blowing out an eardrum" - it's a bit more complex.

He's not your friend anymore, right? What really works for me is THINKING about spreading peanut butter on bread and making sure to get it as detailed and correct as I can. I think it takes the concentration away from the muscle spasms and that makes them go away! Though the upside-down glass works too, a lot.
