Today, despite a condom, an IUD, and my boyfriend getting a vasectomy, I still managed to get pregnant. It was my first and only time having sex and I don’t want kids, ever. FML

Today, my wife and I had zero interest in being parents, so she's on the pill and I always wear a condom, but now, with my vasectomy less than a week away, she somehow got pregnant and decides she wants to keep it. FML
Today, I asked my boyfriend if he might want kids one day, and he most definitely does not. In fact, he even thanked me for reminding him we need to stock up on condoms when we go shopping, plus he’s even considering a vasectomy just to make sure. I’m already pregnant. FML
Today, despite being on the pill and always using condoms, I'm pregnant. I told my boyfriend I want to keep it, hoping he wanted to keep it too. He told me he hopes I enjoy being a single parent, because he absolutely does not want it, but knows I’ll never get an abortion. FML
Today, I'm pregnant. So far, I have been criticized about 20 times for “making poor choices.” Not only did we use a condom, I’m also on the pill, and have an IUD. FML
Today, I got a text from my girlfriend. After only having sex once, where I wore a condom and didn't even get to come, she says that she's pregnant. FML
Today, the one time, THE ONE TIME, we ran out of condoms and had sex anyway, my girlfriend got pregnant, even though she’s on the pill. I didn’t even orgasm inside her, I had to do a Google search to learn that live sperm can emerge and go inside her even before I orgasm. We are so screwed. FML
Today, I found out that I'm pregnant. I had an IUD put in two years ago that's supposed to prevent pregnancy. To put it in perspective, less than 1% of people using this IUD get pregnant. Lucky me. FML
Today, I explained to my boyfriend that I want to get my tubes tied, because I don’t want kids and can’t stand the fear of getting pregnant by accident, despite contraception, which has happened before. He summarized: “So, the main point is to preserve your fertility, right?” Wrong. FML
Today, after we recently married, my husband wanted kids and I didn’t, so we agreed we’d have at least 5 years child free, then have one child and one only. I just tested pregnant. Despite all our precautions, I actually got pregnant on our honeymoon. FML
Today, I found out I'm pregnant. My husband had a vasectomy this past summer after our son was born and only took one of the two tests. I haven't cheated. He refuses to believe me or get his spunk checked again. FML

it sucks with all those precautions. weigh all the pros and cons since we don't know your situation. while I don't personally believe in abortion you need to do what is right for you and the fetus. this is a very difficult choice you will have to make and either way it will change your future. good luck and I hope you make the right decision for you that will have the least regrets. while I know I didn't give you a solution, I hope my words can give you some strength.

What's not understandable in "I don't want kids, ever"? I do believe that you're trying to be nice here and probably think that you are but seriously, don't. As a childfree myself, we're tired of this kind of bullsh*t. If you don't believe in abortion, keep it to yourslef, we don't need people like you to tell us to do what's best for us and that it is a difficult decision to make because you can't understand that it's actually not. Don't want kids ever = yay abortion. Thanks.

wow he was being nice...you are not...and yay for you if you are proud of abortions, no need to broadcast it. I know many women that had abortions but this is the first time i'm hearing someone actually liking the act of it....smh

You have my sympathy, apparently despite all reasonable precautions you got pregnant. If you decide to have an abortion, the longer you wait, the more difficult it is to put into action. So think carefully but choose quickly what you are going to do. I am sorry but I could believe one birth control method rarely failing, two failing is possible but really small in likelihood. I assume you would know if you had an IUD put in and you should probably know if a condom was used. But I doubt boyfriend had the vasectomy - Or if he did he didn’t wait long enough afterwards. I had a vasectomy myself, after the procedure then I was checked a month later to make sure it was effective and until getting an “all clear” I had to assume I might still be shooting live ammo. By the way, you probably need to be checked to make sure the IUD is still in there. I am so sorry, sometimes shit happens despite our plans. Make your decision quickly.
