Today, while driving my kids to school, my son said, "Why don't you find another place to live, so we can just live with daddy?" Then my daughter added, "Yeah, 'cause we LOVE Daddy." FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Quick turnover
Today, after meeting the love of my life two weeks ago and moving him in to start our life together, my kids have run off to live with their dads. Apparently they are “not dealing with another new dad.” FML
Today, my eldest son told me he wishes he lived with his dad. This after I, two years ago, managed to get myself and my children out of the abusive situation we were in. Why? He didn't want to tidy his toys. FML
Today, my 5 year-old informed me she likes her "other mummy" more and wants to live with her instead. I need to have a long conversation with my husband. FML
Today, I drove my two kids to their friends' houses. In my convertible, looking what I though was my best, I slowed down outside a bar with cute 20 year old girls in front. My daughter noticed the speed reduction and said, "Keep driving dad, you're fat and mom left you for a reason." FML
Thanks, kids
Today, I told my son and daughter that their father and I were getting a divorce. They each responded with something like, "Yay! I want to live with Daddy! He buys better presents!" Their father has literally never bought anything for them, one of the many reasons I'm divorcing him. FML
All over the place
Today, I drove 15 hours to drop my son off at my parents' for their vacation, just for them to tell me that they changed their minds and they're taking my sister's kids instead. FML
Mystery man
Today, as I was taking my three year-old daughter home from daycare, she asked where her daddy was. I tried to tell her that I was her father, but she answered, "No, not you! My other daddy!" I've got some talking to do tonight. FML
Today, I explained to my 5 year old daughter that her older sister from my husband's first marriage lives with her mommy, and my daughter lives with us. She exclaimed, "It's not fair! I want two mommies like she has! Can we swap, I like her mommy better than you anyway!" FML
Today, my daughter asked me if we could adopt a child. I said no, since we can't afford to support another child. She then asked me if she could just adopt another dad instead. FML
Today, my daughter told me that she wanted to live with her father because they have a faster internet connection. FML

It really makes me wonder why your kids would say something like that. I know they sometimes say things they don't mean because they don't know any better... But I don't know. I'm not trying to say you are a bad mother or anything, it just makes me wonder.

Clearly you're doing something to turn your kids off. If you're beating your kids and that's the reason then no reason to worry. They'll thank you for it later, just keep them in line, I know I'm grateful that I got beat as a kids. Probably could have turned out as one of those spoiled brats that I'm seeing all over the place today. Although I can't really imagine beating a child, I would feel like a bully or a rapist.

there is difference between physically punishing your child when they overstep there boundaries and have ignored all verbal warnings which is what you're referring to as beatings instead of physically abusing them. you're being downvoted because of this misunderstanding.

growing up, my dad let me get away with more things and he was always working so i would say i like daddy more, but really its the same. they probably just want more time with him!

That they lover their Daddy doesn't mean they don't love you as well.

Why do all the women on here overreact to everything?

You're probably doing your duty as a parent and raising your kids proper. Daddy is probably not, but they have fun.

I would also like to know what you have done to them, or their father, to make them say that. Kids can say some off the wall things but never anything that cruel without reason. I think you should discuss this with your husband, maybe it comes from him

I ask my mother all the time when the hell she's gonna go away and live with her bf and leave the house to me. It's not that we don't love you, we just dont want to be around you ;D
