Today, we got a new window washer in my office : a three-year-old, who decided the best tool for the job was his tongue. I'm the only one in the office willing to touch a bottle of glass cleaner. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Patronizing
Today, at work, my manager thought I needed to be showed how to use Windex. FML
Guilty as charged
Today, my boss asked me to help train his son, so I put him to work cleaning tools covered in oil. He didn’t warn me his son has a violent temper, and would overreact at being asked to work for a living by dumping the bucket of tools on my head, breaking my glasses and concussing me. FML
Today, I told my boss I need a scrub brush to properly clean the stairs at my workplace. She gave me an old toothbrush. FML
Great start
Today, on the first day of my nanny job, I wanted to impress my employers with how trustworthy and responsible I am. During the sixty seconds that I went to pee, the two-year-old found a black Sharpie and scribbled all over the wall. Nail polish remover made it ten times worse. FML
Today, some kid decided to pee in the kids' play area at work. Because I was the shortest employee working at the time, I got to climb through the area to mop it up, while all the kids pointed and laughed at me. FML
Big kid
Today, I went to take a drink from my water bottle while sitting in a quiet office with 5 coworkers. I squeezed too hard, sending a jet of water straight into my nose. My coworkers now think I need a sippy cup. FML
Today, I had to clean up after the kid who discovered he could finger paint with his poo. FML
Accidentally?
Today, my brother sprayed the entire kitchen, including all the dishes, with industrial strength spray adhesive, thinking it was disinfectant. I'm the one who got to clean it up. FML
Today, was the first day of my new job. My boss admitted that they hadn't cleaned the employee bathroom for over two months. My first task: clean the employee bathroom. FML
Today, whilst at a red light in my car, a homeless man with a spray bottle and a dirty rag came over to clean my windows. He started with the driver's window, which was wide open, and whatever was in his spray bottle smelled suspiciously like urine. FML

Give the kid a spray bottle with a mixture of white vinegar and water. He'll enjoy spraying it, the windows will get clean (at least the bottoms), and vinegar ain't gonna hurt him if he happens to lick it.

I don't understand why you are the only person in the building willing to touch the glass cleaner.

Maybe they don't want to stain their khakis or can't bend down in a pencil skirt? Actually, a lot of people just think they're too good for any kind of manual labor.

I had the same response. "Oh God I have to wipe a window..."

Unless your job description includes window cleaning... don't clean the windows. What, are you your colleagues' personal cleaner?

Are you aware some companies and small stores don't actually have janitors and the employees take turns to do that ? My question is, why is a 3 year old licking windows and is no one supervising that kid ?

What's a 3 year old doing in your office? apart from the windows.

Is the place of said business your home? And are your spouse, children or any other residents(sister wives, in-laws, any other family members)... said employees???
