Today, after three weeks of putting it off, I decided to ask out the girl I've had a major crush on since third grade. When I told her, she smiled, but then quickly said, "But aren't you gay?" FML

Today, I finally got the courage to ask my best friend to go on a date with me. She assumed I meant a double date and squealed, "Who's the lucky guy?!" She thought I was her gay best friend for the past year. FML
Today, I was texting with my childhood crush late at night and we were exchanging secrets. I figured this was as good a time as any to tell her about my long-standing crush on her. Turns out she's a lesbian. FML
Today, a girl I've liked for the longest time kept asking me to reveal my "deepest secret" in exchange for hers. Thinking this was flirting, I told her my secret was that I liked her. Her secret was that she was a "lesbian and just had to tell somebody." FML
Today, I told my girlfriend I wanted to tell her something important. Coincidentally, she did too. She wanted to tell me that she thinks she's actually gay. I wanted to tell her I love her. FML

what a bitch, im a wrestler too. people call wrestling gay, but is there any other sport where you can literally beat the hell out of someone in front of teachers, principals, parents, and not get in trouble for it? didnt think so. tell that ***** to go screw herself.

@#50: being a wrestler doesnt automatically make people gay, my school is known for having a large population of gay kids so I know alot of gay people and only one of them wrestles. and he is one of the coolest guys I know. and @#55, every single sport or competitive game that has ever been played in the history of the universe has been played for one of two reason, A:fun, or B: to showcase your talent and hardwork. I don't know if you have ever even played a sport but just because Wrestling is a sport where strength is common and important doesnt make wrestlers attention ******. #63 When the only reason you play a sport is to do it in front of a crowd and brag when you do good then yes you are an attention whor, I look at chess and other things the same way. If it is fun then do it but do not do it just to get attention like ninety-nine percent of athletes, especially stereotypical idiots with their "Letterman" jackets. I was actually in basketball at school for four years and football for two. I quit because some of my team mates got pissed off at me when I "showed" them up and everyone saw me as a "jock" and just kept reffering to me as the football player. Labels are stupid. I started playing sports to have fun and meet new people not to get attention and be known as the football guy or be expected to ditch my original friends and only spend time with the other football players.

I like your view 69. Especially since you have a picture of wrestling on your profile and you are not freaking out. I just really dislike how stereotypical and cocky most athletes get. The thing that actually bugged me about this "fml" is that he stated that he has a "letterman jacket" as if it makes him more important than others.

how does saying that you have a letterman jacket imply that you think ur better than other people? if he wasnt wearing the jacket the whole FML wouldnt hav happened, he didn't mention becuz he thinks hes special, we don't even have letterman jackets here. He mentioned the jacket becuz he had that pin on it, I have a non- letterman jacket with the same pin and I get the same shit from my friends. Ur saying you don't like that athletes cuz they get attention?!?!? thats ridiculous wrestling is one of the most ignored sports in the country, if all you wanted was attention you would play basketball and football which are the biggest sports in the coountry, basically you called a guy who plays an obscure sport an attention ***** and yet you play the two biggest mainstream sports in the country. If you play basketball and football you are DEFINITELY going to get attention, its part of sports. I don't understand why you would quit a sport that you're good at and you enjoy becuz people recognized that you were good at it
