Today, one of my customers told me he was going to kill himself when I explained to him that I wasn't going to be able to deliver him the gallon of milk he wanted. I work in a pharmacy, dispensing medication. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, while working in my pharmacy, a patient told me that he sometimes wants to jump the counter and skin me alive. He has no more refills, and his doctor is out of town for the week. FML
Today, I was yelled at by a customer because I couldn't tell her where the vitamins were in the pharmacy. The manager came and yelled at me for being lazy and incompetent. I work in the store across the street from the pharmacy. FML
Today, one of our regular customers came in and was telling me he bought an assault rifle. I told him not to go off his meds and shoot up the store, as a joke. Later, my manager told me that the guy is on antidepressants and was discharged from the military for being "mentally unfit." FML
Weirdo alert
Today, a customer came into the store I work at to ask why I hadn't killed myself yet. A month prior, that same customer told me to kill myself. All I did was compliment her shirt. FML
Customers from hell
Today, I reduced a customer to tears and she had a tantrum, saying that nobody loves her, her life is a joke, and she’d be better off dead. This ordeal happened to grab the attention of my manager who was nearby. All I did was tell her that an item she wanted was sold out and offered to help her order it online. FML
All fax, no printer
Today, at work, I was calling customers to tell them that they had prescriptions waiting to be picked up. It was a long list and every time I reached an answering machine I left our number so they could call us back. When I was finished, the pharmacist told me I been giving out our fax number. FML
Today, a lady stormed into the pharmacy I work at and chewed me out because the medicine I sold her the day before gave her horrible diarrhea as a "side effect". I checked, and it was the medicine she asked for - laxatives. FML
Entitled
Today, where I work at a pharmacy, we were short staffed and running 4 hours behind. A lady came to drop off a new prescription. When I explained to her the wait time, she called the patient. I heard, "No, they don't look busy." Like, really? FML
Today, a customer became irrationally angry and called me a "stupid bitch", all because she couldn't use the coupon clearly marked "30% off grocery items" on a prescription from our pharmacy. FML
Today, I was that person in the pharmacy that held the line up for 25 minutes. When I got home, I realized I left my prescriptions in the shopping cart in the store's parking lot. FML

Some people take suicide too lightly when they use it as a form of blackmail OP. I'm sure he won't and if he does you wouldn't be to blame!

I'm pretty sure he said that just so he could get his gallon of milk. Doubt he would've committed suicide though.

Even so, anyone remotely connected to a medical position (or a position of authority such as teacher and such) *has* to take suicide threats seriously. It sucks because of situations where it seems like the person is obviously faking it to get their way, but I would rather ten entitled people get undue treatment than let one genuinely suicidal person slip through the cracks.

They won't really get undue treatment. In my line of work, I have spent copious amounts of time in the intake section of the emergency psych unit. Mainly you sit for hours and hours, then you speak to a nurse who takes your vitals, as well as you belt, shoelaces, tie, and other things that could harm you. Then you wait some more. Eventually you see a psychiatrist and they ask you if you want to hurt yourself, or others. When you say no- they let you go. In my ten years- I have only ever had 1 person actually stay from an emergency visit. Everyone else was sent home...

Well ******* shit bro what if he was trying to make some scrumptious biscuits, or get a nice boost on his calcium levels. You probably just pissed all over his day. If you were trying to hurt the guy why didn't you just bunch his balls into dust and blow me into the wind. But no, you had to go over the line and deny him his ******* milk you heartless chud.
