Today, my mother told me I'm going to get lung cancer. Because she smokes. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Bullseye
Today, my mother called me and told me that she went to the hospital. This wasn't a surprise 'cos she normally goes to the hospital for the smallest things. I was a smartass and asked, "What now? You finally have lung cancer from all those cigarettes?" Apparently, she does. FML
Thanks mom
Today, I learned that I may have lung cancer. I've never smoked a day in my life but it could be from secondhand smoke exposure from all the years of my mom smoking around me. FML
NOT NOW!
Today, while driving me to the hospital because I was having an asthma attack, my mother lit a cigarette. FML
Today, my mom told me I'm the reason she's going to kill herself one day. FML
Today, in front of a hospital, I noticed that an old lady was having trouble lighting her cigarette because she had Parkison's. So I went to help her to light it up and she then started chatting with me and told me she had lung cancer. FML
Today, my future mother-in-law told me she thought I was severely allergic to cigarette smoke. That hasn't stopped her from chain-smoking around me for the last 3 years. FML
Smoking kills
Today, my grandmother - who has been a heavy smoker for almost forty years, and does not believe in the dangers of smoking - was diagnosed with COPD. Also, I'm now at a greater risk of developing COPD because of her (and my parents, who also smoke). FML
Today, it's the third day since my mum quit smoking, and I realised that her health-drive is having a negative effect on my own health when she bitch slapped me down the stairs because she didn't get a joke I told her. FML
Bad Luck Brian
Today, my doctor told me that my lungs are as bad as a 60-year-old heavy smoker's. I'm 19 and I've never touched a cigarette in my life. FML
You hypocrite
Today, my mother lectured me about going to the bar too often. She did this while rolling a joint. FML

She's right - secondhand smoke can cause lung cancer easier than firsthand smoke. Not entirely sure how, but it's true. Which is why I hate cigarettes, cigars, etc. So glad they passed the law that prohibits smoking from inside restaurants - nothing is more irritating than trying to eat with smoke blowing in your face.

you could actually. more people die of second hand smoke then themselves smoking.

both my parents smoke...I sometimes fear getting lung cancer too. the best thing you can do is try to help her quit
