Today, my mother in law likes to baby my partner. Gets him drinks, kisses him on the forehead, talks to him like he's 8, does everything for him. And she gives me death stares, especially when she hugs him when I'm around. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, my hate for my mother-in-law now outweighs my love for my husband. FML
Today, my mother-in-law screamed at the top of her lungs in front of our friends and family that I was stealing her baby away from her. I'd only suggested we go home because he had a migraine. Her baby is 24 years-old and has been married to me for a year. FML
Parasite
Today, and since we've had our baby, my mother-in-law started coming round more often, then bringing her stuff to stay overnight, then started claiming she lived here, and got hysterical when we told her she doesn’t. I had to pick her up and place her outside while she punched me in the head repeatedly. FML
Leech
Today, my mother-in-law constantly threatens to commit suicide, unless my husband pays her bills. He told me I don’t care about his happiness because I told him he can’t keep giving in to her guilt trips. FML
No thanks
Today, my girlfriend's mother is more into me than she is. FML
Get the **** out
Today, I can no longer tolerate my mother-in-law. She's not a bad person, but anytime she opens her mouth it is only to criticize, chastise, scold, or blame me. My husband is too terrified of her to ask her to leave our home. FML
All over the place
Today, I visited my in-laws, whom I thought I was on great terms with. I soon learned that wasn't the case when my mother-in-law yelled at me about how I've been abusing her for years. Ten minutes later, she hugged me and asked me for grandkids. FML
Today, my wife made me go with her to dinner with her parents, despite their long-standing hatred of me. Later on, my mother-in-law muttered to me, "I made yours special for ya", smirked, then made a show of scratching at her butt-crack. FML
Shut up
Today, my boyfriend's mother who lives with us decided that since I work from home, it would be a good idea for her to stay home and keep me company. "Keeping me company" includes ordering me to make her food, gossiping non stop, and ridiculing me for not being the woman that she always saw her son marrying. FML
Nice try, Doris
Today, my mother-in-law called my boyfriend, who is four years younger than me, to try and persuade him to go to a funeral, because there would be cute girls there his age there. FML

That's the phrase I've used too. 10 years now.

Why is #9 getting down voted?

Because he used monster I hope it the only reason he got voted down

He's is a conjunction of he is. Your attempt to be a grammar Nazi has failed. If the OP had typed his, then you'd have a leg to stand on.

Yesterday, it said "talks to him like his 8". I can see that they fixed it today.

You should talk to your partner about that or just think it's only temp ... Honestly I would be sarcastic about it and make her look like an idiot whenever she goes to get him a drink just say hey "name get me one too please beautiful" lol

Ok I've seen situations like this and it will get worse. You seriously need to discuss this with your husband and if he sees nothing wrong with it, consider filing for separation

i agree, thats a huge red flag, his crazy obsessed mom is gonna be involved in every aspect of her son's life and will take his partners as threat/competition giving them hate and nothing more because in her mind no woman is good enough for her precious son
Bearsmomma 30
Most likely, if there is ever a disagreement between you and his mother, he will side with her. You've been warned.

I've heard about a case where a mother was so into her son's life it was nauseating. It was so bad the son would sleep with the mom and the police learned that they would kiss in a romantic way and it got even to where the cops thought the mom and son were........yeah. But when the couple divorced the mom wanted the children cause she wanted to be the mom of her grandchildren. It was crazy ass stuff but I pray for OP that things don't turn out like that.
