Today, my husband of one week lost his wedding ring while we were preparing for a dinner party. After a thorough search and no luck, I started to cry. He told me to quit being a drama queen because we had guests. He then got drunk with his friends, puked on the patio, and called me a bitch. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, my best friend invited me to dinner at his house. When I went to the toilet, I found my wife's wedding ring in a cup, which she'd lost a week ago. FML
Lord of the lost rings
Today, despite been married for less than two days, my husband has managed to lose his wedding ring. FML
Insecure
Today, my husband went on a boys' night but I found his wedding ring on the nightstand so I confronted him when he got home. He was wearing his ring. What I had was a brass olive ring for plumbing so now I look like a jealous idiot. FML
Long time coming
Today, it's been 14 years since at our wedding my now-husband lost the wedding ring, and we had to rush to buy another, which delayed the wedding and cost us our honeymoon flight and thousands of extra pounds. I just got his old suit out to dry clean. The missing ring was in its box, in his jacket. I'm going to kill him. FML
Today, my husband came home with tears in his eyes. I ran and asked him why he was crying. He said he wasn't, but he finally admitting to talking to a woman in a bar who, when she noticed his wedding ring, sprayed him with mace. FML
Manchild
Today, I confronted my husband about yet again going out “with the boys” and not coming home. I told him that as long as he has that ring on his finger, he’s gonna respect me, the kids, and our home. He responded by taking off his wedding band and throwing it to the ground. FML
Caked and baked
Today, I came home to my drunk husband, to find that he raided our fridge and freezer to soothe his beer munchies. That would have been fine, had he not eaten the top tier of our wedding cake I'd been saving to eat on our first wedding anniversary, which is in 4 days. FML
Today, I hired a babysitter, so my husband and I could spend some time together and work on our failing marriage. I dressed up. We went out. He got drunk and puked on me. FML
Bachelor party
Today, I had to cancel my wedding because my fiancé is so hungover from his bachelor party, he's throwing up all over the place, can't stand up straight and is calling me by the stripper's name he met yesterday night. FML
Where is it??
Today, I noticed I'd lost my wedding ring after returning home from a long, tiring day of painting our newly purchased home. After driving back and forth to the house for more than an hour to go looking for it, I found it tucked away in my back pocket. FML

There are newlyweds that lose their wedding rings everyday around the country. He may have lost an expensive piece of jewelry but it's certainly nothing to cry over.

It's not the monetary value, it's the sentimental value. A wedding ring is a really ******* important piece of jewellery; it symbolises a couple's love and their vows. To lose one, especially so soon after a wedding, is pretty upsetting. I'd cry.

I think it depends on the tears. Wedding rings are a symbol of something that is supposed to be very special and sacred. I often cry out of frustration, so if my new husband lost his ring and we couldn't find it, I might cry a bit too. I don't mean that I'd scream and wail and throw a fit, but I might shed a few tears, more out of frustration than anything. It doesn't mean I'm a drama queen, unless I start accusing him of doing it on purpose or going on that its a bad omen or something stupid.

a wedding ring is a symbol of their new life together as husband and wife who are supposed to love eachother.... obviously he didnt care about the wedding ring...so he isnt caring about her if hes calling her a drama queen and what not.

Stop being such a bitch. He's 100% right, plus he was drunk so he isn't responsible for anything he said.

he drank the drinks didn't he? It seems like he was in control and responsible to me. And she wasn't being a bitch, she was upset. You sir, are just an asshole and I hope that your spouse or future spouse does this to you everyday.

WTF #17? being drunk gives you no right to give up responsibilities for your actions. being drunk is not an excuse, and will never be. the law doesnt see it as an excuse either. the only reason why i like being around drunk people is you can manipulate them and gain something from the horrible experience. i have gotten a new plasma with the ammount of cash i have "borrrowed" from them, knowing they wouldnt remember:) stupid dumb ass drunks are nothing but a lower class sub set of the human race.

My dad lost his wedding ring like 10 years ago. My mom really didnt care... she didn't cry over it. Losing the wedding ring has NOTHING to do with the marriage. so suck it up.

Ignore him calling you a bitch. He was drunk, it's not like he could control himself. And anyway, you were a bit of a drama queen. You CRIED just because he couldn't find his wedding ring? It's a bit over-the-top, but he probably should have been nicer. Maybe you should have a talk with him abotu how sad you're feeling
SoniaLovesYou 0
She's supposed to ignore his calling her a bitch in front of their guests?! If that's the extent that he "can't control himself" when he drinks, then he shouldn't be drinking in the first place. It's NO excuse for being cruel to your loved ones.

"he was drunk, it's not like he could control himself" honestly? would you say the same thing if he had beat her up? if you can't control yourself while drinking, control yourself by not drinking. that should be obvious, but sadly it isn't, as shown by comments like this. shockingly, it is possible to control yourself while drinking as well.
