Today, my family and I drove to a mall an hour away. We split up, and I went into a store by myself. A little later, I get a call from my brother asking me where I am. They had already left to go home and didn't notice me missing from the car. They were already halfway home. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
I don't know, leave me alone
Today, my mom and dad went off somewhere for some alone time together. My mom had apparently turned her phone off and my dad left his at home. In that span of time, my brother had accidentally locked himself out of his house, and my sister was also trying to get a hold of them, and now are asking me where they're at. FML
Remember me?
Today, while visiting family, we went to a restaurant to eat. Towards the end of the meal, I went to use the restroom. When I came back, everyone was gone. Everyone had actually gotten into their cars and left without me. I have no idea where I am and no one is answering their phone. FML
Today, my mom and I went to Winn-Dixie. I told her I was going to a different isle 5 minutes later I hear my name on the intercom to go to the front of the store. As I go I see my mom crying, she comes and hugs me and tells me she thought I was lost. Im 22, I had my cell phone, and I drove there. FML
See ya!
Today, my family was leaving for a weekend trip and was supposed to pick me up on the way down. About an hour before they are supposed to arrive, my mom calls to tell me that there's no room left in the car, so they won't be stopping to get me. FML
Family! Woohoo!
Today, our family went out to a restaurant at night. My cousin and I needed to go to the restroom, so we told everyone before going. Less than three minutes later, we came out to find them gone, along with the cars. They forgot about their own kids. FML
Today, my father told me to take the car and get some groceries. An hour and a half later, coming home with the groceries, I see the cops all around my house because my dad had called them, thinking that I had run away and stolen the car. FML
Today, I went shopping with my parents. Halfway through, I got separated from them and tried to call them only to find out my cell phone battery was flat. A few minutes later, an announcement was made for a lost child. It was by my parents. I'm 36. FML
Always call first
Today, I went to visit my aunt who lives 6 hours away from me. Her car was missing from her driveway, but she's unemployed and barely leaves the house. Turns out, she moved in with her new boyfriend and didn't tell anyone, so I had to drive 6 hours back. FML
Lost
Today, my parents started fighting at a restaurant. Embarrassed, I went to the restroom to get away and stayed in there for about 15 minutes, knowing how long their fights can last. When I came back, they were gone. They'd ditched me, and left me to walk several miles back home. FML
Today, my parents and I went to the movies for my mom's birthday. After the movie, my mom and dad got into a fight, and left me at the movies. My cell phone was dead, and my house was about 12 miles away. They finally came and picked me up, hours later. FML

You must be the quiet one in the car.. I hope you gave them some heavy guilt tripping. But just in case, next time use the buddy system

Better than being left at the gas station with greasy old men sporting paunches and yellow tank tops, which, might I just add were white when purchased. Still pretty FML.

Man that sucks, that's just rude. If that were me, I would find that very offending. :| Wait a second, you guys arrive at the mall, you go into only ONE store, then they already left? After such a short time? Unless you spent a longgg time in that one store?...

LOL, no one loves you! Your a nobody! That has happened to me a couple times. Once when I was younger and once when my friends thought it'd be funny to ditch me in a park. :(

Not that big a deal, even Jesus got left behind by his family on some trip when he was young. Not sure the exact spot in the Bible, but it's there.

No. Even if you have 5-6 people on the trip, you do not forget somebody. You just don't. The more people you have, the more people you have to realize you aren't there. The less people you have, the more obvious it is that you're missing. If they were ditching you, that's one thing. But if they didn't notice you missing, that just doesn't add up. Unless your entire family has some kind of medical brain disorder (in which case they shouldn't be driving), this doesn't work. And why would your brother ask where you are? Did he think you were hiding in the car? Seriously.
