Today, my car was broken into. They broke the passenger side window and took my radio system. But they didn't take the remote for it. FML

Today, I came out to find my truck window broken. They broke into my truck to yank out the stereo. It was unlocked the whole time. FML
Today, both my car and my father's car were broken into. They stole my radio, purse, wallet, camera, and multiple items of clothing. What did they take from my dad's car? Some screwdrivers to help rip my radio out of my dashboard. FML
Today, I was pointing out my car to my roommate. He responded with, "Oh that one with the broken window?" Turns out my car had been broken into. They took my CD player, GPS and Ipod. On top of that they left a Reese's Fastbreak wrapper and sunflower seeds on my front seat. FML
Today, someone stole my laptop from my car. However, they were nice enough to relock the doors after they smashed in the window. FML

Today, I visited my friend in a nasty part of town. When I saw the shattered window of the car next to me, and the missing stereo, I moved my car to a safer location. Luckily, though, I have a common car, so the thieves were able to jimmy the lock and steal my stereo without making any noise. FML
Today, I went to my car to get a few things, when I discovered it had been broken into. Nothing of value was taken. My window was busted in just for a pack of cigarettes, a lighter, and my car's ashtray. FML
Today, my car was broken into, on the same night I stayed up late researching how to install my new car alarm. FML

I left my window open/car unlocked at my apartment once upon a time and someone let themselves in. At the time my radio wasn't working and not realizing it was just a bad fuse I had removed the unit and stuffed it under the driver's seat. The next morning I came out to my car to find scattered papers, a missing bag of nickles ($2 worth), a missing lighter, and a missing hacky sack. The stereo was still under my seat. F*cker stole my hacky sack :(

The same thing happened to me, but the stereo they stole was hardly a month old. They pretty much ripped it out and broke all of the central console out... As an added bonus GM had this really awesome idea to make all 1993 Saturn SC2 vehicles have one giant piece for a dash. In order to replace the radio I would pretty much need a new dash, due to the damage they inflicted..

My car was broken into the one freaking day i didn't lock my car. My glove compartment was open and everything was out. All he took was my broken cell phone that was in two pieces. Smart guy.
