Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, my boyfriend broke up with me because of my drunken antics. My reaction? Pour myself a stiff drink. FML
Today, I told my boyfriend that I was going to start controlling my drinking and he told me pretty much that he didn’t think I could do it. FML
Today, I caught my boyfriend trying to dispose of several empty alcohol bottles, leading to a discussion how dating me and putting up with my insanity has given him a drinking problem just so he can get through the day. Me catching him seemed to be the wake up call he needed, because he dumped me. FML
Today, my fiancé refused to talk to me because I'm "an alcoholic". I only started drinking like this after we moved in together and he brought me alcohol every day, because he's an alcoholic. FML
Today, I already felt like shit for no reason, only to find out my boyfriend been drinking again, even though he knows it worries me. He lives two hours away and I don't have a car. Apparently he's had two bottles of vodka, and he started getting nasty over the phone with me. FML
Today, I realized I willingly support my boyfriend's alcoholism, because the only time he says "I love you" is when he's blind drunk. FML
Today, I love my boyfriend just as I always have, but I'm realizing I don't know if we'll last because he's an angry drunk. He drinks frequently, and I've talked to him about it, only to be met with, "I'm a grown ass man." FML
Today, I told my boyfriend that I was going to stop drinking, since I have been having some problems with alcohol and some of my relatives are alcoholics. He later broke up with me, saying he couldn't be with someone who "chose to be boring." FML
Today, my drunk boyfriend flipped out and told me I was a total control freak, and that he couldn't handle how weird and clingy I am. All I did was ask if his phone was charged. FML
Today, my boyfriend tried to confront me about my “drinking problem”. He claims that the last time he was at my place, I had a full bottle of rum and now it’s gone. He hasn’t spent the night at my house in over two months and it was a half bottle of Malibu. FML

I've been drinking most of my life. I've gotten into plenty of trouble, been to several court ordered AA meetings years ago and realized quitting just wasn't for me. I dealt with the shakes at an early age so if I don't drink I won't lose my mind but I always wonder when my next drink will be. I'm a quiet responsible drinker but i am still constantly criticized by my family and its nauseating. From bottles a day to beers now and then, is a huge improvement but there's no escaping the constant family fuckery. I guess all I'm try to say is just be you, even if it involves a couple too many drinks that he or anyone else won't like. Live for you, just don't get caught up doin some stupid shit that might **** you or someone else over for a long time. Cheers.

That's actually a common excuse from alcoholics. I've heard it all my life. "HOW dare they lecture me about being an alcoholic. Like they never touch a single drop of alcohol" Like it's somehow hypocritical for someone who drinks in moderation to tell someone that they drink way too much.
