Today, I had two of my wisdom teeth removed. One side of my face is completely swollen, and the other is normal. I feel like the elephant man. FML

Today, I got my wisdom teeth removed and took the pain medicine that the oral surgeon prescribed for me before bed. The pain actually did go away for the most part, until my stomach decided to betray me and make me throw up, forcing my jaw to open more than it could after surgery. FML

umm, if it has only been a week, your face is not back to normal. It took me 2 weeks, and I was given anti-inflammatory medication.

it probabaly isnt back to normal. when i had my wisdom teeth pulled it took a few weeks before my face went completely back to normal, you probably just thought it was back to normal because it looks alot better than it did but to someone who hasnt seen you all week wouldnt notice how much better your face looks...so dont worry about it i'm sure he didnt say it to be mean.

Men! Do they EVER pay attention? Don´t worry - I´m sure he just got used to seeing you with the swollen cheeks. Awkward, though. My friend got her wisdom teeth out last year and I know how it looks like. Any idiot would notice if your cheeks were normal again.
