Today, my boss fired me because of my drinking problem. The reason he thinks I have a drinking problem? I was in a play he saw, in which I played a drunk person. I've been completely sober my whole life. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I was fired from my job. My boss claimed it was because I smelled like alcohol, never mind the fact that my job was brewmaster at a beer company. FML
Today, I overheard my boss talking about me on the phone. Turns out he was drunk off his ass when he gave the go-ahead to hire me, and he's now searching for any excuse to legally fire me. FML
Today, after being a resident DJ at a local club for over 4 years, I got fired. Not because I'm bad at what I do, but because my boss thinks I'm not 'having fun like the other DJs'. And by 'having fun' he means that I don't drink enough. I got fired for not being an alcoholic. FML
Today, I had to have a word with my boss about how him coming into work drunk is probably not a very good idea. FML
Boozing on the job
Today, I was at work, cleaning up a construction site. I picked up a beer can and accidentally spilled some of it on me. My boss came in to check on me and thought I was drunk. Instead of getting a raise, I was fired. FML
The day after
Today, I went to work completely hung over. I was at my desk for 5 minutes before security threw me out on my ass. Apparently, I’m hung over because I got fired yesterday and got blackout drunk, completely forgetting that I had been fired. FML
Today, I got fired from my job because my boss thinks that me doing everything he says makes me untrustworthy. FML
Snitch
Today, I got fired from my job. My manager found Facebook pictures of me drinking underage at a party. He said he didn't want "that kind of image" associated with the business. It was his birthday party. He supplied the booze. FML
Today, for the first time, I decided to just be myself at work. My boss thought I was drunk. FML
Any excuse
Today, without any warning from my body whatsoever, I had to go to the bathroom at work to puke. I was then fired for being ‘drunk’ at work. I wasn’t drunk, just sick. FML

Preeeetty sure there's some lines for wrongful termination in there. Yeah it'd suck to go back and he'd be out to get you (Or already has been) but it would be a job until you found another!

So despite being sober your whole life you where able to convincingly play a drunk that he believed you had a problem? Right....

I mean, OP might have taken acting lessons or something. I’m not quite old enough to drink and I’ve messed around with friends who said I acted drunk. It’s not terribly hard, and I’m sure OP is so much better than I am.

Being sleep deprived has many of the same effects. It is possible but I feel like there is more to the story. Like they were so sleep deprived they thought they were drunk. I find it hard to belive that just based on the play alone that was enough to get fired.

... what do you think how people play a drunk? Get wasted enough to get addicted and then watch themselves in the mirror at all times?

Maybe your acting sucks? Since you’ve been sober your whole life, perhaps you play the drunk like a clown, like Foster Brooks or “Drunk Uncle?”

A: Your boss is majorly ****** in the head if they are holding the actions of a fictional character against the real person who played them. Does he think Keanu Reeves is really a mass murderer because of John Wick? Shit. B: This is one hundred percent an illegal reason to fire someone. Even if you can't afford a lawyer, talking to one about the potential case is free and many will take on a solid case for a % of the winnings or something like that, so you should at least look into it.
