Today, my 12-year-old son came home after a week with his father. He was still wearing the same socks and underwear I sent him out with. FML

Today, my 12 year-old brother tried doing laundry for the first time and ruined all my clothes with bleach. When my dad drove him to Walmart to buy replacement clothes for me, he bought me tighty whities. We both have worn boxers our whole lives. My dad won't return them. FML
Today, my son took some of my underwear to school. What's worse is he sold it to his classmate for $10. FML
Today, my ten year-old brother told me that his thirteen year-old friend took one of my bras and two pairs of my underwear a few weeks ago. Apparently he took them out of my room, put them on, and has been sleeping with them ever since. He's coming to give them back tomorrow. FML
Today, my son decided to run around a supermarket in his underwear, leaving me to chase after him. FML
Today, I found out that my ex-boyfriend stole a pair of my underwear, and still wears them to this day. FML
Today, I found out where all my missing panties have gone, when my 12-year-old daughter was caught selling them to the boys at school. FML
Today, I cleaned my 21 year-old son's bedroom from top to bottom. When he got home from work all he could do was complain that the clothes that were on his "floordrobe"’ were "only worn once." This was my only day off, so why do I bother? FML
Today, there was a laundry basket of my clothes sitting in my room. My dad asked me if they were clean or not. When I said I didn't know, he picked up a piece of my clothing, sniffed it, and said it smelled fine. That piece of clothing just so happened to be my underwear. FML
Today, I had to explain to my 14-year-old sister why one must not wear the same pair of knickers for a week. FML
Today, my dad came to pick me up. It would have been nicer if he'd had his clothes on. FML

with my four year old nephew, we always do his laundry and send him back home in the same clothes he came in... maybe that’s what happened here?

A mother is a pervert if she notices you haven't changed your underwear? Wow you have a weird notion of perversion and parenting. When my son was 12 you bet I kept tabs on how often he changed, it's important to keep up with hygiene. Your mother knows these things, time to process that.

She probably still does his laundry... or asked if he changed his underwear after seeing he was wearing the same socks. Not many 12 year old boys do their own laundry. Many take advantage of free laundry service a-la- mom well into college.

My 9 year old does his own laundry, he still wears the same underwear every day, cuase they his favorites, will wash em then put them right back on... Not all kids have bad hygiene or rely on parents to do simple tasks

Undergarments are pretty private pieces of clothing, due to where they are. So yes lol. Regular clothing sure it's easy to see if the same clothes or if they are clean/ wrinkle free etc.

oh and as to the things that happen "downstairs" , mother knows all about that too, because she empties the bin of sodden tissues and she finds those used condoms under the bed, and she washes those stained sheets.
